I am excited to be a part of Snack Factory’s Pretzel Crisps® Blog to Cure blogger program! Together, we can raise awareness and much needed funds to help Susan G. Komen for the Cure® put an end to breast cancer. I had previously hosted a review and giveaway of Pretzel Crisps on my blog. You can view it here. They have since become one of my favorite snacks, and have pretty taken the place of crackers, popcorn and potato chips in our household. Now that they are sponsoring such a great cause, I have even more reason to love them.
For over 25 years, Komen for the Cure has been the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since inception. Through the generosity and donations of individuals and companies across the country and throughout the world, Komen has been able to continue its fight against breast cancer and towards finding a cure. This year, Pretzel Crisps®, the low fat, low calorie flat-baked pretzel cracker, is proud to join the fight and help donate to the cause. For every specially marked 14 ounce Pretzel Crisps® bag sold from August through October 2011, Snack Factory will donate a portion of the proceeds, with a minimum of $100,000, to Komen.
How can you help? Spread the word and help make a difference by posting about Komen on your blog. Or just tweet this post or post it on your face book page. You can also purchase specially marked Pretzel Crisps® bags from the deli section of your local supermarket. You can also find additional ways to donate to the organization and learn how to get involved in events and races in their community by logging onto www.komen.org.
