Summer Splash! Retro Planet Review & Giveaway

Summer just wouldn't be complete without a little homemade iced tea. Store bought is fine sometimes, but homemade tastes so much better and its actually better for your budget too. We like our tea with lemon and sugar, and my two older children love helping to make it. The only problem I usually have is finding a pitcher that is just the right size and that the kids won't drop and break.  I like a pitcher that is pretty to look at, but still indestructible.  This year, I found exactly what I was looking for at Retro Planet.

For my review, I received the adorable Bubble Pitcher, which is just the right size for a batch of ice tea or lemonade.  It definitely reminds me of the old days when my grandmother used to make everything from scratch.  It has a sturdy lid, and nice gripping handle, so it easy to use and doesn't drip. While it definitely looks like glass, its actually made from sturdy acrylic, so I don't have to worry about the kids dropping the pitcher or the four matching 19 oz bubble glasses we received to go along with them. The set is the perfect way to indulge in style in the summer heat.

To add just a little extra fun, we were also sent one of their shaped ice cube trays. We picked out the peace sign mold, and this was a huge hit with my my tween daughter.  Adding some peace sign ice cubes to our ice tea, or any drink at all, makes things fun and original.  The tray is made from food safe silicone, is machine washable and can be used over and over again.  They will add a little fun to all your meals and kids will love making their shaped ice cubes as much as using them.
