Domenix Veggie Fries Review & Giveaway (5 Winners)

Getting kids to each veggies isn't always easy. My kids rather fill up on their side dishes like french fries and mashed potatoes than touch anything green. But what if there was a way for kids to get to have their fun dipping their fries and still get their veggies? Well now, thanks to Dominex, there is a way! They have come up with some tasty eggplant veggie fries that kids and parents everywhere are going to love.

For our review, we were sent a bag of frozen fries to try out. I was surprised at how easy they were to prepare. You just need to preheat the oven to 450 degrees and cook them for 10 to 15 minutes. The fries came out sizzling and crispy and smelled fantastic. They tasted even better. They actually have a little more flavor than regular fries. I served them up to my kids without telling them they were made from eggplant. They told me that they loved them and asked when I would be getting them again. When I told them they were made from veggies, there's mouths dropped open in shock. But it was too late to take it back. They had already admitted they liked them. So, now I have a tasty new side dish for my kids that is fun to eat and a healthier alternative, all thanks to Dominex.   For even more tasty fun, you can also try out this recipe:

Eggplant Fries with Dipping Sauces

Preheat oven to 450°. Place frozen fries in a single layer on baking sheet
and bake for 15 minutes or until golden and crunchy.

Zesty Chipotle Dip

1 package Dominex Veggie Fries

½ cup ranch dressing

2 cloves garlic, minced

5 drops hot sauce or chipotle sauce

1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

In a mixing bowl, mix together ranch dressing, garlic, hot sauce and
parsley. Serve with immediately with Veggie Fries or refrigerate until ready
for use.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

¼ cup ketchup

¼ cup white vinegar

¼ cup sugar

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook on medium-low heat until
warm and sugar is dissolved. Serve warm or at room temperature alongside
Veggie Fries.
