Identity DVD Review

Identity is a little different than the other cop shows. This British series shows you the scary results of identity theft. In this exciting series, you will follow an elite police unit tracking identity thieves and their unwitting victims. DSI Martha Lawson (Keeley Hawes) assembles a team of investigators and she is betting her reputation on the results.  Cavalier DI John Bloom (Aidan Gillen) has undercover experience and knows what its like to live a lie.  DS Anthony Wareing (Shaun Parkes) clashes with Bloom and his questionable methods, putting a strain on the team's relationship. Rounding out the group is DC Jose Rodriquez (Eyles Gabel) and IT expert Tessa Stein (Holly Aird).

The series brings together a stellar cast and each episode is loaded with intrigue and sometimes danger. Together the team works on protecting the identities of those at risk of identity theft.  It was originally broadcast on ITV in the UK, but is so popular that ABC is already considering an American version.

Episodes include:
Second Life, Chelsea Girl, Pariah, Reparation, Somewhere They Can’t Find Me, and Tomorrow Comes Early

If you are interested in checking out  Identity for yourself, it is available at Acorn Media starting on May 3rd for the low price of $39.99. It includes six episodes plus text interviews with the cast as well as cast filmographies. If you need a little suspense in your life, this is definitely the box set for you.
