See ‘African Cats,’ Save the Savanna
On Monday April 18th, just in time for Earth Day, Disney will be releasing the newest movie in their nature series. In the last few years you might have seen "Earth" and "Oceans". This year the movie is "African Cats". Its a great way for children to learn about the creature we share our planet with. Plus watching this movie can help to make a difference. During the film’s opening week (April 22-28), a portion of the proceeds from that week’s ticket sales will be donated to the African Wildlife Foundation through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to protect the Amboseli Wildlife Corridor, a passage between the Amboseli, Tsavo West and Chyulu Hills National Parks that is frequently used by lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and a host of other animals in the African savanna.
To learn more about this great film, check out the trailer below, and make sure to mark your calenders for the release of this exciting family. Also be sure to follow them on twitter and/or become a fan on face book to keep up with the latest promotions.
