Life Style Crafts Review & Mother's Day Giveaway

My mother in law is an amazing lady. She makes everything. She knits blankets and clothes for the baby, she wood burns jewelry boxes for the older kids. She even made her own cabinets in her house. So when I came across Life Style Crafts, I knew I had found the perfect place to get her a Mother's Day gift that she would really be able to put to good use. The Letterpress Epic Tool Kit Combo is just what she needs to create cards and scrap books to go along with all her other fabulous creations.  No matter what the occasion, you can find the tools you need to do it yourself and make it a personal work of art.

For our review, we received and amazing package that included the following:

1. Letterpress/Epic Tool Combo Kit
2. 2 Printing Plates
3. 2 Inks
4. 2 sets of paper and envelopes
5. Cleaning Cloths
6. Accessory Tool Kit
7. Ink Guide Strips
8. Various Cutting Dies
These are the perfect tools for cards so we decided that both grandmothers would be getting a personalized Mother's Day card this year. My kids picked out a few of their favorite family photos to put inside the card and we set to work. Loading the ink was easy. Then you just need to roll the ink onto the press. We used the light pink ink and spelled out "I Love You" . The first time, we didn't it was a little blurry, but on our second try it came out perfect. We then added some decorations like balloons and  flowers. We glued a picture inside of each to give it that truly personal touch. They came out beautiful and I know these cards will mean more than anything we might get at the card store. And its only one of thousands of things you can do. Make a scrapbook, a personalized year book, school folders, picture frames and more.

In addition to the letter press itself, Life Style Crafts offers dozens of accessories so that you can make your own cards and crafts for any occasion. I know next on my list is going to be birth announcements. To learn more about this great company and all they have to offer, you can visit their website. There you can find helpful tutorials as well as lots of fun crafting ideas.  To keep up with the latest promotions, be sure to follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book.  If you are thinking about making a purchase, now would be the perfect time. New Age Mama readers are being offered an exclusive discount. Just enter the code NEWAGEMAMA and you will receive 20% off your order. This offer is valid through 5/15/11. And remember, if you have a woman in your life who loves crafting, a gift from Life Style Crafts would be the perfect choice this Mother's Day!

In honor of Mother's Day, one lucky winner is going to receive a fabulous prize package from Life Style Crafts that includes one Epic Die Cut Letter Press Tool and a set of accessories. To enter, you must visit Life Style Crafts and tell me another item you would love or how you would use this kit if you won.  This is the only entry for this giveaway and it will end at midnight on  5/9/11. It is open to the continental US only. The winner will be chosen via a random number generator. Thanks again to Life Style Crafts for offering this great prize!

I would like the Revolution. What a great giveaway. I do scrapbooking and I either cut out all my lettering by hand or hand write.
When I taught, I'd make a scrapbook for each child and it would take hours and hours to do all that by hand.
