Chocolate Banana Smoothie with Silk Chocolate Milk #SwitchtoSilk



For day eight of our Switch to Silk Challenge we made another smoothie, but this time we used the Chocolate Soy Milk from the  Simply Silk line. It was a nice warm day today so a cold drink seemed like a good idea. I took a banana, a few scoops of vanilla ice cream, and two cups of chocolate silk. Its a great way to get the kids some fruit and calcium in one delicious shake. It came out so much better than a regular milk shake. Silk really adds a whole new dimension to everything. All my kids loved it, even the baby.



I made my smoothie with ice cream, but there are lots of different ways to make a great smoothie using Chocolate Silk. Here is a simple recipe for a Chocolate Banana Breakfast  Shake that is a great way to get the morning off to a good start.



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 sliced, frozen banana
  • 2 t sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1 c Silk Chocolate or Light Chocolate

PREPARATION

Blend until creamy. Mmm, so dreamy.
