The child's legs and back get the support they need. I noticed a difference in Willow's behavior from the first time I tried it. We made it through the whole shopping trip with no fussing. The only thing I miss about the cloth cover is that it covered the handle of the cart which Willow still tries to chew on. But in a few more months, it will be completely perfect and the cloth cover will be going to good will.
