Holiday Gift Guide - Kung Zhu for DS Review
This summer, right around my son's birthday, the Kung Zhu hamsters made their debut. As soon as he saw the commercials he had to have them and we got a few for his birthday. Now its almost Christmas and of course, more Kung Zhu items are on his holiday list. But there is one thing that he wanted more than anything else. The Kung Zhu video game for the DS available from Activision. This exciting new game is a must have for all boys. Its brings to life the characters they love in a whole new world of Kung Zhu action.
In Kung Zhu, the hamsters get ready for some serious battle action. They travel through 35 levels and can choose between either the Special Forces or the Ninja Warrior tribe. Throughout the course of the battle you are able to pick up battle gear to keep them protected. They jump and fight using hilarious Zhu-power moves. Choose between several fun characters including Sergeant Surge, Drako, Yama, and Stonewall. Check out the video below to get a sample of the action.
My son is eight and this game was perfect for his age level. Its easy for him to play and follow along with no complicated directions involved. There is minimal violence and its an exiting interactive game with excellent graphics, even on the small DS screen. It even offers wireless multi player action.
