Element Bars Review & Giveaway

Healthy snacks are great but plain old granola bars get boring. Wouldn't it be great to find a snack that is healthy but tastes great too? Something chock full of nuts and real fruit like blueberries, dates and cherries?  Well, guess what? You can have your snack and eat it too! The nut and fruit bars from Element Bars are so awesome, they are almost too good to be true.

I was lucky enough to get try  a few of their most popular bars. My favorite was the Fuel Up and Go. It was almost like having a candy bar. There were lots of big pieces of cherries and nuts. Not little flakes you can barely taste like in some bars. The Choco-lata-fun was awesome too. It it nice and chewy and really makes you feel energized.

But I haven't told you the coolest thing about Element Bars yet. They have the option of making your own custom bars. I know I rarely can find bars that have all the ingredients in them that I want. Now you can choose exactly what you want for your special bar. Make it crispy or chewy. Add blueberries or cherries. Peanuts or dates. With some ingredients you can even choose organic products. Its fun and healthy all at the same time. And when your done you can save your creation if you want to come back and order more.

If you think Element bars might be right for you, now would be a great time to give them a try. Element is offering New Age Mama readers an exclusive discount. Just enter the code NEWAGEMAMA15 at checkout and you will receive 15% off your purchase.

Now for the giveaway! One lucky winner will receive a gift certificate to create 12 custom bars. To enter, please visit Element Bars and tell me at least two ingredients you would use in your bars. For an additional entry, become a follower of my blog. This giveaway will end at midnight on  8/3/10 and is open to the US only. The winner will be chosen via a random number generator. Thanks again to Element Bars for offering this great prize!

Wow! Sooo cool you can customize bars! I love how when you build your bar it also gives nutritional information, and an option for organic!

I would definitely use flax seeds and their whey protein boost in my bars!

Hi,
I visited the blog and it was fun to make up your own bar. Two of my ingredients were cranberries and walnuts. I've signed up as a follower.

So fun - I'd start with a chewy base, add blueberries, walnuts and agave, + omega 3s.
