My Thoughts

My daughter has very long, fine hair that tangles easily. Getting it combed out is a constant battle because she cries that I hurt her, but if she tries to do it herself, her hair winds up a in big matted knots. I have tried lots of detangling products over the years. Some of them get the tangles out but dry out her hair.  But now that I found Fresh Monster I can get out the tangles and bath time can be fun again!

Fresh Monster products are made from toxin-free ingredients that are both BPA free and cruelty free.  I was sent both the Ocean Splash Shampoo & Body Wash, Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner Combo, and the Watermelon Detangler to test out.  Before I even tried it out on my daughter's hair, I was in love with the scents. The all come in fun varieties that kids will just adore. My daughter doesn't like using baby shampoo now that she is almost seven. However, she's still young enough that she doesn't want to use a shampoo that will sting her eyes. The shampoos from Fresh Monster not only leave her hair tangle free, they are also gentle on the eyes, making them the perfect choice for those kids that are stuck between babies and big kids.

Both the shampoos I tried lathered up nicely and were easy for her to rinse out of her hair independently. The body wash formula also left her skin nice and soft. When she was done shampooing, we also spritzed on a little of the detangler. For the first time in years, I was able to get the comb through her hair with little to no resistance. It is such a relief to be able to comb her hair without tears. Plus, it left her hair shiny and healthy, smelling great, and even added some body.

Our Thoughts

This product is particularly important to me because I live in a dry cabin and we recycle the water we haul in or catch. Needless to say, we prefer for it to be toxin-free and Eco-Me allows us to do that. In fact, my chickens even drink the water that exits from our kitchen and we use a gray water system for gardening. This soap allows us to be functional with our water by using it multiple times for multiple reasons.

On top of all that, it is common knowledge now that there are too many chemicals and other crazy ingredients in everything we use nowadays and it is definitely a major cause for concern in regards to our health. So many chemicals and toxins are linked to diseases such as cancer and many others, part of the reason why this product was created actually.
