Holiday Gift Guide - Jetson V6 Hoverboard

My Thoughts

My son has been wanting a hover board for a while now, and the Jetson was exactly what we were looking for.   While he's pretty good with balancing since he rides a skateboard, the few times he tried riding other hover boards, he fell right of. The Jetson is unique because it offers several different levels: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. On the beginner level, the board adjusts to  your movements to help keep you steady. As you move to the higher levels, you have more control over speed and balance. After only a few weeks of practice, my son has mastered the intermediate level, and is well on his way to advanced. The Jetson offers a smooth ride and  Active Balance Technology for a ride unlike any other. You can push the speed up to 10 mph, and travel up to 15 miles each time you charge it.

Of course, you also have to love the sleek design. Our board is white, but the Jetson comes in a variety of trendy colors including black, pink, red, and blue. Plus, there are some other really cool features. One of my son's favorites perks is the built in Bluetooth speaker. He's able to listen to his favorite music as he rides down the street.  There is even a feature that allows you to track your board if it gets lost. 

As a mom, one of my favorite features is that the board has lights. Now that the sun is going down at five o'clock, I always worry about him  being outside riding after dark. Since he always wears black clothes, I feel much more confident with him riding home after dark with the lights on the board because I know that cars can see him coming.

My son is completely thrilled with the Jetson, and all of his friends are impressed with it as well. If a hover board is on your family's holiday wish list, this is a great option. My Thoughts

Probiotics have been in the know for a few years now and have only become more popular. From supplements to probiotic foods that encourage good healthy gut bacteria, everyone knows that probiotics are something that should be added to everyone's daily lifestyle. Probiotics help with gut bacteria (getting rid of the bad and encouraging the good), while also healing the gut from any bad foods eaten previously or currently. Goodbelly provides all this and comes in delicious fruit flavored varieties that taste great. On top of all that, one of the best things I know about probiotics and our gut is that with a healthy gut you are sick much less than "normal" so making this part of your (and your kids) daily regimen is a no brainer!

My family got to try both their cartons and their shots. The cartons taste just like real fruit juice, so you won't even notice you're not enjoying a regular drink. The shots are a little grainier, but still go down pretty smooth;y and are great for when you're on the go. As for how well it works, my teen daughter has stomach problems from time to time when she eats dairy products, but I have noticed that as she has been drinking GoodBelly daily, she complains much less about her stomach. Also, all of my children have healthier bowel (regularity) habits. I'd say this is a good product for both parents and kids!

My Thoughts

I was very impressed with the Fresh Wave products. I used the Fresh Wave odor removing gel in my down stairs bathroom where I keep the kitty litter box. It's a small room, so often times it's kinda stinky. So I felt this would be the perfect room for this product. I have noticed a fresher scent in the bathroom and have been pleased with how long the gel as lasted and kept its fragrance. In the past, products like this might work for only a week, but so far this one has been going strong for several weeks. It's meant to last for 60 days.

Another of the new products is the Fresh Wave odor eliminating spray. I was very impressed with this one. It worked very well. I tested this also in the small bathroom downstairs and the odor was eliminated right away, not returning. This has now become my go-to when I want to freshen up the living room or the curtains around the front door. It has a nice light fragrance. I can't quite pin point what the smell is, but it's pleasant.

And finally, there is the odor removing packs, meant to be placed somewhere to keep the area fresh. Such as your underwear drawer. This also has the same fragerance as the others. A nice light smell that isn't too overpowering.

I really liked these products and I will be continuing to use them in my home, especially with them being GMO free and organic.

My Thoughts

I received a body lotion in the velvet plum scent and I really like the smell. It's fruity and flowery all at the same time. The lotion is thick and glides across my skin easily. It also absorbs very quickly and didn't leave me with a greasy feel.

I used it mainly on my hands and I felt as though it held up for quite awhile. I didn't feel like a few hours later that I needed to reapply. I typically use it as a hand lotion once a day and it's the only time I've needed it.

The scent does stick around for a bit, so if you're going somewhere and want to make sure you smell nice, using this will help you achieve that without being overpowering with a perfume. After using the lotion, I would pick up the body wash and body mist as well.

My Thoughts

The monster cereals from General Mills are the perfect way to get ready for Halloween. Kids will love starting off their morning with these sweet cereals, that provide a healthy serving of vitamins, but still come in flavors kids love. We got to try out the Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo-Berry. They offer a temping concoction of fruity cereal or chocolate ceral mixed with marshmallows. The retro boxes make them even more fun, and remind me of my own childhood. On the back of each box is a fun mask that you can cut out so kids can really start to enjoy the holiday.

In addition to the cereal, this year you can also find some awesome snacks.  The Count Chocula treats were a great after school snack and the fruit roll ups are perfect for school lunches or to hand out in class as a unique Halloween treat.  My kids loved all three varieties of cereal as well as the ceral bars and roll ups that we got to try out, and we'll definitely heading to the grocery store to grab a few more before the season is over.
