Review: Zoonicorn
About Zoonicorn:
Zoonicorn began with an idea to create a unique, plush toy for children that would be a combination of an exotic animal (zebra) and mythical creature (unicorn). We also wanted to create a children’s book to go with the character which would be educational for kids and entertaining for adults.
We discussed our initial idea with many people and received a lot of positive feedback. After several revisions, we achieved the exact look and feel of our vision for Zoonicorn. That’s when our four characters were born.
People immediately fell in love with the concept.
Our Thoughts:
These sweet little stuffed animals are the perfect blend between a loved zebra and a unicorn! There are several colors to choose from, and each one has their own name. My three year old squealed with excitement when I gave her her very own to love.
Each one has a very special lesson. For example we received Aliel for review, and she is fun to be around. Although she likes to talk a lot, loves to get dirty, and loses things, she is energetic and loves an adventure.
The book is a nice size, and not so lengthy a small child loses interest. Brightly colored pages, keep even the interest of an adult (I enjoyed reading this to my daughter). The story we received was geared toward a very active bison who even dreamed about jumping and running. When she slept the zoonicorns came to play with her.
This has become a new favorite, and a story I'm sure we'll utilize several times when getting ready for bed time. This is a great gift idea, and one I'm sure will be a huge hit!
Find Zoonicorns here or on their Facebook page and learn about their online games and stories as well as a fun app for your phones!

A complete list of hospital partners is available online.
My Thoughts
My children were thrilled with the new Kohl's Cares selections. We received the bear and the penquin plush and both of the toys are toddler safe with no small pieces or button eyes. To go along with each of the stuffed animals, we are got a beautiful hard back picture book filled with vivid illustrations and fun stories! They are the perfect stories to read just before bedtime. Penguin on Vacation book was about a little penguin who visits a tropical island and befriends a crab. Found was about a little bear who finds a toy rabbit and goes in search of it's real owner, even though it will make him sad to give it up.
It's hard to believe you get such high quality toys and books for only $5 a piece. But the best part is, you can feel good knowing these are gifts that give back. Through the Kohl’s Cares program, 100 percent of the net profit from this collection supports children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

Get Ready for Fall with Brian the Pekingese - #Giveaway
Brian the Pekingese is a fun way to help your kids get ready for the colder nights that are on the way. My daughter is getting too big for footie pajamas so it was time to find something new for her this dall. Her whole world revolves around puppy dogs right now. She has a whole collection of stuffed animals and she's been asking for pajamas with puppies too. This, of course, made Brian and the Pekingese the perfect choice for her. All their sleepwear is designed with an adorable little pekingese dog that was inspired by the creator's own pet. The cute design is sure to win over kids of all ages.
These PJs might be adorable but there is more to love about them than simply their adorable design. Each set is made from only 100% cotton, which is soft and warm fabric that won't irritate even sensitive skin. There are no itchy tags, no uncomfortable feet, and the stretchy material gives fast-growing kids plenty of room to grow. But for my daughter, the best part about her new pajamas is the furry friend that comes along with them.
To really bring Brian to life for your child, you can order your kids a plush version of Brian the Pekingese to go along with your pajamas. My daughter thought it was the coolest thing to have a toy that matched her pjs and this one is a safe and cuddly option. He's made from 100% fabric so there are no small parts or button eyes that can present a choking hazard. He's an extra soft and lovable friend that kids will love to have by their side to guide the way to dreamland.
Brian the Pekingese pajamas come in several colors including purple, pink, brown and blue. Sizes range from 18 months to size 10. They even have some new designs geared toward boys. My Thoughts
My
little girl
loves athing that has a dog or a cat on it and a collection of stuffed
puppies and kitties that is practically overflowing from her room.
When I saw the the Miyoni collection, I knew they would be a huge hit with
her, and I was right. This duo has been at the head of her bed since
they arrived. We received the Pomeranian Puppy and the Yellow Lab with a Ball. They are adorable plush toys that are
extremely well made and realistic. The fur is soft and the seams are
tight. I have some Aurora toys that my teen passed down to my
four-year-old that are over ten years old and still in great shape. I'm
sure this one will be no different.
In
addition to the superior quality and pure huggability of these plush toys, they are also an affordable gift that's sure to last for years. My children are thrilled with them, and they make a great addition to their fluffy collections.
And this is just one examples of the adorable toys available at Aurora. Here a few other fun gift ideas:
