Get Nutty: It’s Peanut Butter Lovers Month!

It’s November, and you know what that means, it’s time to get a little nutty and celebrate National Peanut Butter Lovers Month! What better way to ring in the most wonderful time of the year than with one of America’s most beloved foods, and one that 94 percent of American households consume?

So spread it on thick and enjoy peanut butter the best way you know how – with Justin’s! We’ve shared a few of the brand’s must-try and most loved peanut products that we know you and your readers will enjoy:

  • Justin’s Peanut Butter + Banana Chip Snack Packs: Celebrate anytime, anywhere with the latest innovation from Justin’s – just dip, bite and enjoy!

  • Justin’s Organic Peanut Butter Cups: Available in white, milk and dark chocolate (and in easy to love minis!) you can’t go wrong with this classic flavor combination.

  • Justin’s Classic Peanut Butter: For a snack, on a sandwich, or by the spoonful, there are so many ways to love this lip smacking favorite, so pop open a jar and enjoy! You deserve it.

My Thoughts:

Justin's is one of my favorite brands when it comes to nut butters. I've loved peanut butter all my life, and finding a company that makes natural and organic products and snacks was wonderful! Justin's was kind enough to send a few of their most popular products. Now that it is, National Peanut Butter Butter Lovers Month, I hope this post can provide everyone with ideas for fun ways to enjoy the celebration!

The first couple of products I tried were the Justin's Peanut Butter and Banana Chip Snack Packs. They are available in classic peanut butter, as well as honey. What I noticed right away was that the peanut butter was nice and thick in both of them. I took a spoon out to mix it since the thickness was breaking the chips. Which in reality, is a good thing. To me, the thicker the peanut butter the yummier it is! Once mixed, it was easier to get the product on the banana chips. My favorite was the classic variety peanut butter. However, if you like a sweet kick with your snack, the honey flavored is for you! The banana chips had a good crunch and sweetness to them in both packs I tried.

One treat I cannot get enough of are, Justin's Peanut Butter cups! Look at all that peanut butter goodness stuffed into them in my picture. Honestly, you must try one! You will question why you didn't have one sooner. Lol. Justin's makes these in milk, dark, and white chocolate. No matter what you like, Justin's has you covered. I adored all the flavors. Each cup is filled with thick peanut butter. The chocolate was creamy and luscious with every bite. They are also awesome cold. Put a pack of these in the fridge, get some ice cream, and you have a sundae in the works. Another great treat? Each peanut butter cup has a coupon inside the wrapper!

So, want to celebrate, National Peanut Butter Lovers Month, the right way? I highly recommend Justin's array of products! One bite and your taste buds will thank you.

New Zealand's #1 Peanut Butter- Pic's Really Good Peanut Butter Review!

Living, as you do, in the spiritual home of peanut butter, you can, if you poke around a bit, find an extraordinary variety of peanut butters and peanut oil.

So why on earth should you buy peanut butter from the other side of the world?
Because you won’t find any American peanut butters quite like ours. Despite the fact that our Hi-oleic nuts were developed in the US, they just can’t be grown in America. It’s something to do with cross pollination with ordinary peanuts that makes them revert within a season. The trick is to declare  your whole country Hi-oleic, which is what Australia and Argentina have done.

Argentinian Hi-oleics are, however, harvested younger than their Australian cousins, making them sweeter, but with a less intense flavour.
So, that’s why you won’t find any American peanut butter quite like ours. And hey, if you don’t find it the best tasting peanut butter you’ve ever eaten, we will give you your money back.

My Thoughts:
I will wholeheartedly admit that I am a peanut butter addict. I adore anything and everything that has the delicious spread in it! However, it was brought to my attention as the health food craze became more common that regular store brand peanut butters are not as good as they claim to be. Most found on the market today are jam packed with added sugars, fats and calories. Yet, doctors all over the world are recommending you get a good serving of peanuts in a healthy diet. With that idea in mind, why rule out peanut butter? Pic's is coming all the way from New Zealand to save the peanut butter lovers in America like me from giving up their favorite delight.

Once my supply arrived of Pic's Crunchy Peanut Butter, I followed the directions attached that told me to give the peanut butter a good mix. Due to this being an all natural product, the peanut oils will be at the top, as well as the finely cut nuts. I noticed right away this was a thick spread as I mixed. It smelled extremely fresh too! I decided to start out by make a childhood favorite lunch, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Wow was I impressed! After spending years eating store brand, the taste took me a second to adjust to, but it was delightful. The peanut butter had a hearty taste. The nuts were cut small so you got a crunch that wasn't over the top. The consistency was perfect. After finishing my sandwich, I got a boost of energy too! It did not take me long to start craving a spoonful of Pic's Peanut Butter throughout the day!

Just to show everyone how in love I am with this product, I went ahead and ordered the larger jug of the Crunchy variety already. It did not take long to go through the sample supply after it became a hit in my home. I even made chocolate covered peanut butter bites with Pics'. My family loved it! I'm sure I'll be a forever customer of Pic's Peanut Butter now. I'm overjoyed I found a product that is not only a delicious alternative to a lifelong favorite, but a healthier variety too! One taste of this and you'll wonder why you ever had anything other than pure peanut butter.
As you can see, I bought the big one ALREADY!

A great consistency!

My Thoughts

I am a big peanut butter lover and I was very excited to try the Banana, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Double Dipped French Toast. I am one of those people who can eat peanut butter by the spoon and couldn't wait to try this.

I liked it. It was weird at first. Not the peanut butter drizzled on it, but the texture of the French toast. It was crispy, not something I am used to. It had like a cornflake and oatmeal layer on it. At first bite, I didn't like it, but I kept eating it and it grew on me. I finished both pieces of the French toast and usually with the more sugary items, I don't finish them because they get too sweet. With this, that didn't seem to happen. The crispy outer shell on the bread and peanut butter blended really well with the sweetness of the chocolate and little bit of syrup I added.

You can get this alone or as a combo. I got it with hash browns, eggs, and 4 sausage links. My meal was very good. I would definitely go back before the special is over and try the French toast again, because I ended up really liking it.
