My Thoughts:

I am always looking for ways to incorporate natural, holistic products into my routine. When it comes to the health and beauty as well as the bath and body industry, it is difficult to find something to use that isn't packed full of harmful ingredients and chemicals. As the warmer temperatures are arriving, the first thing on my mind is flip flops and sandals. With that being said, that requires some extra love to my feet to get them looking hydrated, smooth and outdoor ready. I tried the Assuage Natural Foot Scrub from Maple Holistics to help this process.

Ingredients:

Everything about this formula drew me in. I am a huge fan of tea tree and peppermint oil. I find both to be revitalizing and relaxing. Not only that, but having pumice stone in the formula to help exfoliate sounded like the perfect spa treatment at home. Besides the desire to fight off dead skin on my heels and to get rid of calluses, I also wanted to use this since I get foot pain after being on my feet for long periods. I was excited that this was also great for that issue as well.

Upon putting the scrub on my feet, I immediately felt the cooling sensation. The pumice stones were nice and small and I could feel them exfoliating with each rub. If you click the picture above, you can see how nice the consistency of the formula is, as well as the pumice stones within. The scrub and foot cream soaks in quickly, hydrating your skin, making it easier to get rid of the dead skin cells. 

I have to say I was very happy with my results! The left picture was my heel before using the Assauge Foot Scrub, and the right picture was taken after washing it off and towel drying my foot. As you can see the dry skin was certainly rubbed away, the cracks in my heels look a lot better. Plus, my feet felt extremely smooth and supple! I also found this helped with the foot aches I was having that day. After a good massage using the scrub, my feet felt fantastic. 

One tip I will provide for users, make sure to keep the container inside a medicine cabinet or drawer. I had left the product out on a shelf the first time I had attempted to use it. I brought the scrub into the shower with me and could not get the lid open. After the bathroom cooled down and the steam went away, it opened right up. 

Overall, I was highly impressed with my experience using the Assuage Natural Foot Scrub. I cannot wait to keep using this product!

Our Thoughts 

After trying a few of their products before, this has become one of my favorite brands. This time, I was able to try two new products: their foot cream and a new lip balm. 

The foot care gel has a lot of applications, although I can't attest to most of them because I didn't have those specific concerns. I can say that after applying the gel to my feet, I noticed they looked better almost right away. 

What I liked most about the foot gel was that even though I had used quite a bit, I didn't necessarily feel as though I had something on my feet. It went on nice and clean, and seemed to seep into the feet easier and faster than the lotions I use. 

The other product I got to try was the kiss on lip balm. This product is made of a variety of organic ingredients that has a subtle, fruity smell to it. It goes on smooth, and only felt slightly greasy to me. It also doesn't have any kind of harsh taste to it, which I have experienced with lip balms from time to time. I like being able to put it on and forget it's there, and this does just that. 

Overall, I enjoy their products, and I will definitely be checking out some of their other offerings.
