My Thoughts

The monster cereals from General Mills are the perfect way to get ready for Halloween. Kids will love starting off their morning with these sweet cereals, that provide a healthy serving of vitamins, but still come in flavors kids love. We got to try out the Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo-Berry. They offer a temping concoction of fruity cereal or chocolate ceral mixed with marshmallows. The retro boxes make them even more fun, and remind me of my own childhood. On the back of each box is a fun mask that you can cut out so kids can really start to enjoy the holiday.

In addition to the cereal, this year you can also find some awesome snacks.  The Count Chocula treats were a great after school snack and the fruit roll ups are perfect for school lunches or to hand out in class as a unique Halloween treat.  My kids loved all three varieties of cereal as well as the ceral bars and roll ups that we got to try out, and we'll definitely heading to the grocery store to grab a few more before the season is over.

My Thoughts

 I have always been a fan of Suddenly Salad. Their pastas are a quick and easy side dish. I especially enjoy them in the summer months because you can eat them cold and they're nice and refreshing. They've always been delicious, but now Suddenly Grain Salads brings us a whole new type of experience. Each box is loaded with real whole grains like brown rice, wild rice, dried fruits, and nuts.

The Suddenly Grain Salads are so simple to make, my teenage daughter cooked one up all by herself.  The whole thing is done in just four simple steps. First, boil the grains for about seventeen minutes. While that's stewing, you can mix up your dressing. Just add some water and oil to the packet and mix. Finally, drain the grains and mix everything together. After you add the dressing, you toss in the nuts and berries. In less than half and hour, you can have a side dish that compliments any meal.

My whole family loved all the Suddenly Salads with grains. They have lots of flavor and are very filling. One box was more than enough for my family of six.  My Thoughts

Oatmeal is one of my kids' favorite breakfasts, but when I have four children to prepare for school, there's not much time to make it from scratch.
