My Thoughts:

The holidays for my family and I are always very busy. With the constant shopping, cooking, get togethers, and work, it's not uncommon for pain to start creeping up on us. Last holiday season Salonpas sent me a wonderful pack of pain relief products and it was my little miracle for the holiday season. Everyone in my family used the patches, gel, and spray. My Thoughts:

My family and I are extremely busy during the holidays. Between shopping, seeing family and friends, cooking and baking, school and work, a day without a full schedule is rare. Hearing about the array of unique pain relief products that Salonpas offers, I was excited to give them a try. Everyone in my family has pain in some shape or form. My mom has spinal stenosis, my dad works a strenuous job, and I actually sprained my foot a couple weeks before my Salonpas product suite arrived. It was such a blessing when that box met me at the door!

I immediately put a Salonpas Pain Relief Patch on my foot. This product is perfect for sore muscles, sprains, backaches and joint pain. It has 3% menthol and 10% methyl salicylate. I was so impressed with how quickly I could feel relief. The Menthol could be felt within a couple minutes. The patch was big enough to cover the entire area where the sprain on my foot was. It was very simple to place and did not bunch up or fall off. You could smell the healing scent of the mint upon taking it out of the package. It was great! When I wasn't using the patch, I applied the Deep Relieving Gel. It was easy to spread and smelled great. I felt relief in about five minutes.

My mom was such a huge fan of the products as well. The holiday season is not an easy time for her back at all. She deals with pain, muscles spasms, and cramps. The patch is nice and stretchy, but very strong and has a rounded corner for places like elbows. The Jet Spray is also simple to use and quick drying.

The e-mail about this product actually came, funny enough, when I was experiencing a pain I sometimes get in my lower back. While it wasn't able to make it here in time for that issue, I was glad to have it on hand for the next time. 

That next time came not long ago. That sharp pain returned, and I braced myself for another day or two of moving very carefully. Yes, I'm weird like that. I really don't like to take pills unless I absolutely must at the advice of a doctor.

My Thoughts

My husband suffers from Sciatica. Working as a chef and being on his feet for hours at a time really aggravates his condition. He refuses to take painkillers, so topical cures are the way he chooses to medicate.  We tested out several of the products from Salonpas, and the results were far better than we expected. With this gel, a little goes a long way. You only need a dime size portion. Rub it into the area, and you'll feel it going to work instantly. It relieves even the deepest aches, and leaves your skin feeling tingly.  Unlike other gels, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy and it even had a pleasant aroma. 

Salonpas Jet Spray

This works pretty much like the gel, except it's a spray on formula. The results are just as impressive, but the spray is easier to apply then the gel if you're sore in hard to reach places. 

Salonpas Pain Relief Patch

These pain patches provide cooling relief that lasts for up to 12 hours. Just stick one on the sore area and it goes to work. These are a godsend to my husband when he's working long hours.

Salonpas Gel Patch Hot

These are a lot like the other patches, but provide the added comfort of eight hours of warmth in addition to the menthol. We like using these at night, especially in the winter to keep from waking up stiff.
