The GEM20 Digital Scale is a perfect scale for weighing jewels or any kind of small precious objects, such as coins, gemstones, jewelry, gold, silver, etc, and it is extremely accurate. It has a very high capacity of up to 20 grams and professional accuracy of 0.001g. The GEM20 digital scale sets 6 different modes of measurement (g, ozt, dwt, ct, gn, oz) to meet different needs. It is small, compact and convenient to carry around and use on-the-go. The digital scale features a flip open protective cover, to protect the weighing platform and a back lit LCD display that helps make the numbers easy to read.

My thoughts:

Great small portable scale.  It has a flip up top, which allows you to keep all the supplies that comes along with it  secure.  It requires two triple A batteries for it to operate.

When I first used this scale, it was very easy to calibrate.  It comes with two ten grams calibrator weights, and easy to understand instructions.  It also comes with a metal cup (small) that you place your jewelry in that you want to weigh, or any other small objects.  The read out panel is a bright blue and easy to read.

Overall, this is a very accurate, reliable  pocket size scale.
