Our Thoughts

This baby monitor is like having a third adult, a robot adult, in the house. It basically helps you babysit your baby while you're busing doing house chores or whatever else while he or she naps! You can keep the perfect eye on baby and know s/he is safe and sound. You can hear your baby, you can talk to your baby, you can monitor the lights if the sound suddenly changes, alerting you that you need to check in on baby via the monitor.

The fact that parents can communicate through this is astounding. I haven't had to use this feature yet, but just imagine if mom or dad needs help with baby, or for the bottle feeders, if mom or dad needs the other parent to get a bottle ready or something, this is so incredibly convenient for that.

As for the setup, it was very easy. Simply plug the cameras in and turn the monitor on. Each camera has screw slots to mount them to a wall or just set them on a desk or dresser. They do have to stay plugged in. I like how the monitor has a built in flip out stand and the antenna can be folded away. I don’t think you really need it out anyways. The range is really great. I walked about 150 feet keeping a good signal. After that it started dropping. I went about 200 feet and started getting some lag.

Video quality is good. The range of the camera moves to just about any angle you want it to. Sound quality is decent and the sensitivity can be adjusted on the monitor as well as the brightness of the picture. The sound sensitive also lights up the arrow pad on the monitor blue/green/yellow/red depending on the noise going on next to the camera.

The lullabies are very convenient. Having a constant noise in the background while baby sleeps really helps keep him asleep. If it's quiet and then suddenly one of my girls makes a loud noise, it is going to wake him up, but with the lullabies going in the background the sudden loud sounds do not disturb him. This is very nice because it's one of the most frustrating things for parents when nap-time is interrupted.

Our Story

The concept behind Easy Seat is great. Restaurant high chairs are gross but sometimes it's the only thing you have that fits the bill. Now I don't have to rely on germ infested high chairs, my baby gets to sit in his own seat. It looks large in the picture, but it's quite compact and folds up real small to fit in your diaper bag or purse. The material is easily wiped off and you can wash this item too.

I was a bit confused when I pulled this out of the package. It took me a few minutes to figure out how this sat on the chair, there are more straps than I expected but I figured it out soon enough and the straps are necessary to properly sit on the seat and keep your baby safe.

I was able to honestly test out this product a few days ago at a restaurant. My baby is too small but I was able to sit him in it for a minute and get hands on experience of placing the Easy Seat on a chair in public. Easier than it looked when I first took it out of the box. It's also an ingenious food catcher, but I think that was done by accident.

There are many reasons why baby wearing is beneficial. Every baby loves to snuggle with their mother and this hands free way of putting a baby to sleep is a time saver. Not only can your hands be free to take care of other children, you can also cook if you must. I have wanted a Baby K'Tan for quite a while and am so appreciative that I get the amazing opportunity to review this item. I have a few different types of carriers, but the Baby K'Tan is by far the most versatile and easiest!

There are two simple items that come with this wrap. The part that criss-crosses and then the piece you tie around baby and behind your back for additional support. It also folds up as a little carrier for your wrap. The material is very soft and breathable, it is a lot softer than another wrap that I have, it doesn't feel scratchy against my skin or my sons. He also doesn't get as hot in this.

The thing I love the most about the Baby K'Tan is the ease of putting it on. I'm not standing next to my car in the parking lot looking at a bunch of material and worrying about it dragging the ground as I try to wrap myself up in complicated maneuvers to fit my baby the way he likes. Also, you can use this wrap for many years, my kids grow small so this is going to last for forever.

My husband likes this wrap more than any others and I can tell he's inquisitive to try it out, he keeps asking if our son can forward face in this when he is bigger. You can position your baby/toddler in so many different positions with the K'Tan, it really is the most versatile wrap!

I have a lovely Denim color but there are many to choose from and they all look so cute! So far I have eaten at a restaurant, gone to a museum and done my regular grocery shopping with the Baby K'Tan!
