Celebrate Summer with Hi Mountain Seasonings' Western Grill Bundle

About Hi Mountain Seasonings

Hi Mountain Seasonings is a Wyoming‑based company known for crafting high‑quality rubs, marinades, brines, dip mixes, jerky kits, and specialty blends made for outdoor cooking and backyard grilling. Their products are designed to help home cooks elevate everyday meals with bold, western‑inspired flavor. Whether you’re grilling for a crowd, smoking ribs all afternoon, or experimenting with new recipes, Hi Mountain Seasonings offers blends that make it easy to turn simple ingredients into something unforgettable.

My Unboxing Experience

For the Fourth of July, I unboxed the Western Grill Bundle, and it felt like opening a treasure chest of flavor. The bundle includes six of their customer‑favorite seasonings and rubs: Cajun Campfire Seasoning, Original Burger Seasoning, Garlic Pepper Rub, Rib Rub, Alaskan Salmon Seasoning, and Zesty Western Gourmet Burger Seasoning.

I was excited to try them out at our holiday barbecue. Each blend smelled incredible right out of the bottle, and the variety meant we could season everything from burgers to ribs to fish without repeating a single flavor profile. Check out the video below to watch the full unboxing and see my first impressions.

My Full Review

We put every seasoning to the test at our Fourth of July cookout, and each one brought something special to the table.

  • Cajun Campfire Seasoning — I don't do spicy, but my stepfather used this on chicken and grilled veggies, and it added the perfect bold, smoky kick. Not too spicy, just enough heat to make everything pop.

  • Original Burger Seasoning — This one became an instant favorite. It made our burgers juicy, savory, and perfectly seasoned without overpowering the meat.

  • Garlic Pepper Rub — We tried this on steaks, and it gave them that classic steakhouse flavor — garlicky, peppery, and delicious.

  • Rib Rub — We used this on a rack of ribs, and it delivered exactly what you want: deep, rich, championship‑style flavor that caramelized beautifully on the grill.

  • Alaskan Salmon Seasoning — This was perfect on fresh fish. It added brightness and depth without masking the natural flavor.

  • Zesty Western Gourmet Burger Seasoning — We used this on a second batch of burgers, and it gave them a tangy, bold twist that everyone loved.

Every seasoning was easy to use, packed with flavor, and versatile enough to work on multiple dishes. The bundle made our Fourth of July spread taste like a full‑blown cookout feast. No guesswork, no complicated recipes, just great seasoning doing its job.

Final Thoughts

Hi Mountain Seasonings made our Fourth of July meal unforgettable, and their Western Grill Bundle is perfect for any summer barbecue. Whether you’re grilling for a crowd or just cooking for your family, these blends make it easy to serve food that tastes amazing. Stock up before Labor Day so you’re ready for every cookout, camping trip, and backyard dinner coming your way.

My Thoughts

Okay so if anyone has read some of my other reviews, they know that my husband and I are big grillers. My father in law is practically a pit-master smoker and griller. We enjoy it and do it often. We always knew we were going to get out son some sort of grill toy. This one is so adorable. My son really likes it, and was giggling when I was pretending to "eat" one of the burgers after I put together.

It come with steak, chicken, burgers with the fixins, vegetables like asparagus, and the tools. It is great too, because you can put everything in the bowl of grill when you are not playing with it and cover the grill with the grate. The only thing I wish is that the grill grate had some way to snap on to the bowl when you weren't using. It would make transferring it easier. It is a great summer toy. This way the baby can be right alongside Daddy, grilling with him.

The Perfect Father's Day Gift The Grillbot

For the master of the grill, Grillbot is a handy device that will make his favorite hobby even more enjoyable. The Grillbot allows users to clean their grill from their smartphone. Now he can sit back, relax and let this little robot do the scrubbing!  The fully automated device makes quick and easy grill cleaning possible with just the push of a button. Grillbot features replaceable wire brushes that are dishwasher safe, a rechargeable battery, and a LCD alarm and timer, driven by a CPU chip to control its movement, speed, and direction. Now he can get back to the fun while the Grillbot does all the work.

My Thoughts

This thing is insane. I can't even begin to describe how much fun this is. The first time I did it, I just sat there and watched it for awhile. Mind you I have three grills in my yard, because my father in law is a Pitmaster, and my husband is always grilling as well. So when I heard about this particular item I knew it was for us. The first time I tried it, I put it on 10 minutes and let it rip. Now... this thing sounds like a little robot from Transformers trying to escape from the grill lol. It sounds angry, but apparently that just means it is working. Now I had some really baked on rib remnants on my grill. So I set it for 10 minutes the first time, and it was not completely clean when I first did it. So I set it on 20 minutes for the second time. It got the top of the grates very clean. I was impressed. I had to use a grill brush for some of the stuff that was stuck low in between the grates, but for the heavy top stuff it really did the trick.
I love the "set it and forget it" aspect of this little guy. We named ours "Wheelie" after the robot from Transformers. It is very useful because you can pull the brushes off and throw them in the dishwasher. They went from being black and gross to squeaky clean. I threw them right back on the little guy. It has a very convenient storage case for portability. It also has an CPU battery that controls the movement and time cleaning. The battery is rechargeable. I haven't killed the battery yet, so I can't really comment on how long it will clean before it needs to be recharged. This thing definitely makes a fantastic Father's Day gift for any Grillmaster in your family. While there is still a little bit of work that needs to be done on your part, it makes cleaning your grill significantly easier. The neighbor kids thought it was hysterical. Just be careful that your grill has a lip before you try to watch this thing go. Otherwise, it will shoot right off.

Stubb's Legendary BBQ Gift Pack #Giveaway

Now that the warmer weather is upon us, it’s prime time to get out and barbecue. Rocky Stubblefield, Stubb’s Legendary Bar-B-Q brand ambassador and grandson of founder C.B. “Stubb” Stubblefield, offers a few tips and recipes he’s picked up over the years to make you the grilling hero of any barbecue, family gathering or even weeknight dinner. Stubb’s is the maker of authentic, premium, BBQ sauces, rubs and marinades and was founded by C.B. “Stubb” Stubblefield in 1968.
Stubb didn’t just make barbecue, he made friends, serving up his slow-smoked brisket, cole slaw and beans, all with his wide, trademark smile at his restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. It was during this time that Stubb first began bottling his now famous sauces at the request of his friends.
Rocky’s Grilling Tips
rockygrilling Today, Stubb’s heritage lives on in his legendary sauces, marinades and rubs, continuing to make people feel good all over the world.
  • Use indirect cooking for larger meats (indirect is cooking away from the fire), and direct cooking for smaller meats (direct is cooking over the fire).
  • When marinating, beef chicken and pork can be marinated up to two days in a refrigerator. You should only marinate seafood for a few hours.
  • When using charcoal, allow coals to ash over before adding meat to the grill.
  • When cooking burgers, make a thumbprint in the middle of the patty before putting it on the grill. This will help the patty come out nice and flat (not puffy in the middle) and the meat will be cooked evenly throughout.
  stubbstoasted

  • Soak vegetables in cold water before grilling – it keeps them from burning or drying out too fast.
  • For a juicier steak, let your meat rest for at least 10 minutes after it is done to allow the juices that were forced into the center of the meat when cooking to distribute throughout the steak.
grilledribeye
  • Don’t cook ribs ‘til they are falling off the bone – ribs should be grilled until they begin to pull away from the bone, but you should be able to bite into and leave a bite mark as you eat it off the bone. Overcooked ribs become dried out and less flavorful – even a little bit mushy.
sweetribeye
Clean grill after every use. You can use a ball of foil or an onion – just cut the onion in half, and while the grill is heating up, rubs the onion across it. The juices from the onion clean the grill and get it ready for use.

Our Thoughts
Ecstatic!! When this review opportunity came up I jumped right on it! Being 10 minutes away from a float river, my family and I spend a lot of time swimming and at the park on hot days. Now we can have our own take-along grill, grill set, cooler and bowls to keep our food perfectly cool!

The Buccaneer grill set is fantastic. Everything is so compact and it is not hard to carry at all. There are even extra zipper pockets on the side to store baggies or napkins or whatever else you may need, but we use it for that purpose.

Cooking burgers, hot dogs and even steaks on this is easy peasy and it is not hard to hand wash at all.

The cooler really keeps the juices and water bottles ice cold, which is so good on a hot day! There is a lot of room in the cooler for your cold food items as well. Speaking of cold food, the bowls are fantastic! The hubby and I love eating salad so we use the big bowl for a very cold salad and the medium bowl stores the fruit salad for our daughters. Doesn't get hot, stays super cold and with the lids, no bugs!!!

With this grill, cooler set and bowls, we can spend hours at the river and have plenty of food all at the right temperature for us! Awesome products!
