My Thoughts

While I do have central air, I avoid turning it on until the temperature really starts to spike. Being able to have fresh air circulating through the house is so much nicer than artificial air.  With the HOLMES® REVERSIBLE THIN WINDOW FAN, we can enjoy that fresh ocean air a little bit longer.

The HOLMES® REVERSIBLE THIN WINDOW FAN has three small fans in one unit. It slides in easily into your window pane and has an adjustable panel so it will fit in windows of all shapes and sizes. Having three fans in one helps to keep the air circulating. You can direct the cool air in your direction or  pull the stagnant air of out the house, creating the perfect ventilation system even on days when there is no breeze. 

The fan has a variety of great features that make it well worth the purchase price. Just check out the control panel to see all the things it can do. There are three different speeds to choose from, a thermostat to let you know the current temperature, and even an eight hour timer. You can get it to turn off automatically if you don't want it running all night.  If that's not enough, there is also a remote control. I can sit at my desk and if I start to feel too warm, I can turn the fan on and adjust the comfort level without every getting out on my chair. 

The unit is also very compact and thin. In the winter, when its not in use, it will be easy to store in the closet or attic without taking up much space. The blades are also very secure, so children and pets won't get there fingers or whiskers caught. When the fan is running, the temperature in the room seems to drop at least ten degrees, and we haven't had to have the air conditioning turned on yet this year.

My Thoughts

The Ozeri Tower Fan is a great way to stay cool.  First of all, it's very slim and compact, only three inches thick, so it doesn't take up a lot of space. Yet, despite it's small size, it's very powerful. There are three speeds for each fan, which means there are nine different levels of cooling power. It doesn't just blow hot air around like most fans. It's designed to actually help the air flow, so you're doing more than simply blowing the hot air around the room. Air flow and ventilation are perfect. You can operate it via the buttons at the top or use the remote. Both are very simple to operate.

What I really love about this fan is how quiet it is. You really can't hear it at all when it's running , which was very important for us because I got this for my husband to keep out in his music studio. He refurbished our shed into a music room, and it doesn't have air conditioning. Most fans were too loud and distracted him from his music. With this one, he can stay cool and still keep a beat.  We're very happy with both how well it functions and the sleek design. It's also way more affordable than those expensive name brands. Yet, it works just as well, if not better.
