Game Review : Periodyx

The Periodyx Game is fun, but the superstars of all these games are the 118 Element Cards. The more you play with the Periodyx Game cards; the more you'll know about the Elements, the more you know, the more you'll appreciate and enjoy them. 

Some Elements are toxic, radioactive, and scary, like Plutonium, and others are fun and friendly like Oxygen, but they're all real powers in the universe – dynamic and lively!

My thoughts:

This is a cute game.  My daughter and son play it with their friends.  It is fun when there are at least three to four players.  The cards are very colorful and the elements characters on each card are quite comical  to look at.

Not only is this a cute fun game, it is also a very educational game.  I have even learned some facts about Elements I didn't even know.  When the kids are playing, they will learn some cool neat facts also.  And believe me they will remember some of them, as my kids have.

My thoughts:

My family loved this game.  It has become one of our favorite board games.   I have a seven and ten year old, and they both think this is the most fun game.  As a parent, this game is educational as well as fun. In fact, I had my nephew over one weekend who is thirteen and he enjoyed playing this game with my two kids.

Great game for sleepovers, birthday parties, grandparents homes, even classrooms.

The board this game comes with is very sturdy and will last for a long time.  The four dot holders that come with this game are made of a heavy duty plastic. The dots are also very sturdy plastic. The two hundred fifty topic cards are plastic coated, so they will not tear.  All in all the games pieces are very nicely made.

The instructions are clear and easy to understand.  Each player gets one dot holder and four dots.  And than just follow the simple, clear and easy to understand instructions on how to play Sort it Out JR.
