My Thoughts

This is such a cute feeding set. It is a great starter set for any child, and my new go to baby shower gift. It is made of such great material, and such a wonderful design. There are a few other designs with different animals. They have a giraffe, lion, whale, and pig. It comes with a placemat, bib with a great well to catch falling food, spoon, the most adorable chopsticks for training chopsticks. It also has a collapsable bowl with a lid. 

We have just started rice cereal, and we are in the military so we are constantly moving and going places. So the portability of this set is fantastic. As we all know, children are not the neatest of eaters when they are first figuring out a spoon, and the trough on this bib is wonderful. The collapsable bowl with the lid is perfect for putting in my diaper bag. We are not quite at the age for the chopsticks yet, but the spoon, the bib, and the bowl are my favorite pieces so far.

My Thoughts

My son was fascinated by the bright colors and the crinkley ears when he played with them.My girlfriend brought her one year old over and the two of them played together so sweetly with it. My girlfriend actually told me she was going to go out and get one as well. For my son he was trying to put everything in his mouth, but Kenzie was making elephant noises as soon as she saw it, and it was named "Rosie" by the time the playdate was over. Unfortunately my phone was dead so I could not get any photos of them playing with it. We are in the process of moving from North Carolina to New Jersey and we left the toy with my mother. As soon as we get back with the toy, I am sure it will be right back in my son's mouth, and I will get a picture then, and add it to this post. 

Elephants have been a staple in his toys since he was born, and I am looking forward to helping him learn his shapes and colors like Kenzie was. I love that there is also the added benefit of helping promote keeping elephants safe. It really is a beautiful and vibrant toy that I know my son will get a lot of play time out of. The different blocks and the fun elephant shaped head is a lot of fun. This is a great gift idea for someone as well, and it is so reasonably priced.

Take A Stand 96 Elephants Are Killed In Africa Every Day

The Wildlife Conservation Society, founded in 1895, has the clear mission to save wildlife and wild places across the globe. In 2012, poachers killed approximately 35,000 elephants in Africa for their tusks. 96 elephants are killed in Africa every day for their tusks. 

The Wildlife Conservation Society is leading global efforts to end this calamity with the 96 Elephants campaign, focused on securing effective legislation on domestic sales of ivory, bolstering elephant protection and educating the public about the link between ivory consumption and the elephant poaching crisis.

We cannot be the generation that allows elephants to disappear.
