My Thoughts
This is my first time trying an Origami Owl product. I had seen the jewelry and heard about the company in the past. I was excited to check it out more and get a locket made for myself.
First impression was that I loved the Living Locket. Although, the packaging wasn't very good and when I got my item, it was a tangled mess that took me about fifteen minutes to get undone. The necklace came loose in a small box, so it probably got tossed around a lot in the mail. Aside from that, I wasn't going to let that bother me too much. I do want to add, that if you order your own Living Locket necklace from Origami Owl, that when it arrives to you, it comes in separate pieces for you to build, so yours shouldn't come tangled up like mine did.
The locket was gorgeous. I like wearing it and how special it feels. Each charm inside the Living Locket means something to me and it's unique to me. The chances are pretty slim that someone else has built the same locket. It looks to be made of high quality material. It didn't discolor my neck when wearing or cause me to itch.
The Origami Owl Living Locket made a great gift for someone. It would be fun to build for a child, sister, aunt, and put in the charms that remind you of them. It would be a gift they'd treasure for a long time.
