Holiday Gift Guide - NEW Disney Apparel by Okie Dokie

The children’s department of JCPenney just got a little more magical with the addition of the affordable and stylish new line of Disney apparel for toddlers and preschoolers called Disney apparel by Okie Dokie.

The new collection launched this October and includes playful, mix-and-match long sleeve tees, fleece hoodies, pants, leggings, dresses, and tutus featuring Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Cinderella and The Good Dinosaur, Disney-- Pixar's new animated film in theaters this Thanksgiving. The line will be updated each season with beloved Disney characters.

My Thoughts

Like most little girls out there, my daughter is obsessed with everything Frozen, so she was super excited about the new Okie Dokie Collection at JCPenney which features her favorite princesses. My daughter received a two piece set to try out and she just fell in love with it.

This matching set comes with a beautiful top that features Queen Elsa in all her majestic glory. The top of the shirt is outlined with blue and there are snowflakes in the background. The shirt is casual enough to wear with wear with jeans, but also looks great with a skirt, especially the lovely tulle skirt that it came with. It's bright print with glittery snowflake embellishments.  

The combination makes for a stunning effect girls of all ages are going to love.  These pieces can also be mix and matched with all the other Frozen styles in the line.

For my little man, nothing could've been a better choice than the adorable sweatshirt from The Good Dinosaur. He hasn't seen the movie yet, but he's already raving about it. The sweatshirt is extra soft and very warm. It's great for the winter months, but can also carry over to the spring and be used as a lightweight hoodie. The design is very detailed, and lots of fun.

The Force Awakens at JCPenney #StarWars

 JCPenney has some exciting news for Star Wars fans! In stores across the country, and online, all-new Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise will be available in celebration of the movie’s upcoming theatrical release on December 18^th. An array of apparel, accessories and bedding from the movie are now available.

While stocking up on gear, customers also have the opportunity to pose for out-of-this-world pictures with life-size cut outs of Chewbacca, Kylo Ren and Stormtrooper! How fun??

 From pajamas to snugly plush, JCPenny has everything you need to keep the force with you. I have two boys and they are both huge Star Wars fans, even thought there's a ten year age gap between them. Luckily, JCPenny has sizes ranging from toddler to adult. For my four-year-old, this long sleeve shirt was the perfect choice. He loves the army of storm troopers. The white figures stand out in stark contrast against the darker background, making this an eye-popping choice.

My older soon us fourteen and already in adult sizes,  but that didn't stop us from finding some cool styles for him as well. This short sleeve graphic tee was a big hit with all the kids in junior high because of course you're never too old for Star Wars.
