My Thoughts

If you are a fan of Law & Order, you're going to love its British rural counterpart, "Midsomer Murders". In the county of Midsomer, things aren't always what they seem, and there is murder lurking behind many of the well trimmed hedges. The series, which was inspired by the novels by Caroline Graham, offers a selection of murder mysteries filled with intrigue and drama.  Each episode stands on its own and offers its own unique and suspenseful story-line. The collector's  gives us John Barnaby's best episodes and includes a great cast with lots of British humor. Here's a little about each one:

Death in the Slow Lane - A classic car show becomes a crime scene after a murder takes place in on e of the vehicles.

The Dark Rider - Sightings of a headless horseman spell doom for members of the aristocratic DeQuetteville family as they plan a Civil War battle reenactment.

A Dying Art—A wealthy collector's body is made part of his own art show.

A Sacred Trust -  A cloistered nun is strangled to death.

The Killings at Copehagen - Barnaby heads to Copehnhagen to help out the Danish police when a local is poisoned on a  business trip

Habeas Corpus—The body of an old man disappears, Barnaby and Nelson hunt for a serial body-snatcher.

Dark Secrets - Barnaby and Jones investigate the strange death of a social services employee.

Schooled in Murder - A woman is killed---crushed by a giant wheel of cheese. She's made some enemies at the diary where she worked  because she was fighting  for modernization

Drawing Dead - A supermodel is murdered at a comic festival.

The Incident at Cooper Hill - A forest ranger dies and it's possible aliens are involved.

If you want to get the advantage of a full set of amazing  stories that will leave you on the edge of your seat, than this is the box set for you. You can order Midsomer Murders John Barnaby's Top on DVD or Blu-ray at Acorn Media or online at Amazon.
