'Seriously Scary'
Hosted by Christopher Lee, 100 Years of Horror is the first show of its kind ever produced; chronicling the history of movie horror from the earliest experimental chillers through the unforgettable golden age of movie monsters, and on through today's terrifying fright films.
My Thoughts
100 Years of Horror is a documentary no fan of horror should be without. This exciting feature brings you through the evolution of horror, starting with silent films and bringing us to new cult classics. They cover classics like Frankenstein and Dracula, and of course Vincent Price and Peter Cushing play a large role. We also get to see information on newer films like Hellraiser, Poltergeist, Halloween, and the Haunting.
In addition to the documentary, there is also some great bonus footage, like peeks behind the scenes, outtakes, and screen tests. There are ten hours of information on this DVD, and it will teach even the most knowledgeable fan a thing or two about the genre. Grab a copy for yourself online at Mill Creek Entertainment.
