Keep your child's food on their high chair tray with Tray Haven

Having toddlers in the kitchen might sound like a recipe for disaster, but its a great way

to bond with a child and encourage their interest in cooking and healthy eating. Toddlers learn by touching, feeling, tasting, smelling, and seeing and kitchen activities are the perfect way to stimulate all of their senses. Tray Haven helps make bonding in the kitchen easier by giving parents a way to get their children involved without having to worry about wandering hands and the daunting task of cleaning up afterwards. Tray Haven offers these tips to help let children explore their interests in the kitchen while preventing uh-oh's:
  • Give little ones their own prep station! Turn their high chair into the perfect prep station by attaching Tray Haven. It's innovative design keeps ingredients from falling onto the floor and prevents toddlers from sharing their snacks with Fido.
  • Allow toddlers to mix ingredients, organize slices of fruits and vegetables, use cookie cutters, and knead dough. Positive and fun interactions like these are a great way to encourage more participation in the kitchen.
  • Make it fun! Tray Haven eliminates the need to worry about clean up so don't be afraid to make the kitchen their playground

My Thoughts

Okay.... so my kid is a thrower. Toys, my keys, my phone (has had to be replaced once already), food, etc. When I saw this item I was so excited, and when I received it, I may have cried a little with joy lol. Jk but I could have. It is a very clean nice looking blue and white colors. The net is definitely high enough. I mean he could toss things over the wall if he wanted it, but he is more dropping than throwing right now, and this doesn't let him. It is great. There are three walls, and the straps go around the back. There are two straps to keep it secure. As I installed it he kind of just stared at it. It squashed all of his bad habits right away lol. Normally while I am doing dishes and he is playing with toys in his high chair I have to do a couple of rounds of picking up toys and giving them back to him. I got through the whole sink while he watched me and played with his toys. It was fantastic.

It can fold down for portability and can travel with you. It does have that typical scary pop-tent where if you accidentally let go or grab it wrong it pops back open. This can scare me like a balloon popping sometime, but it doesn't take away from how much I love this. Right now I am using it with a 7 month old, but I know that I will be able to use this for many years to come. I am super happy with this, and would recommend this as a shower gift that women do not think to put on their registry. It is fantastic, and totally one of those, "OMG I never would have thought about that, but now I can't live without it" lol. Get this!!! It can also go in the top rack of the dishwasher. I have not tried that yet, but I mean how awesome is that.
