I would nominate the nurse that cared for me when I was sick in the 2nd grade. She let me stay in her office all day until my mom could pick me up.

Our school nurse is so kind and she always lets parents know what's going on.

I don't remember having a school nurse...but maybe I could nominate the nurse at my summer camp? I remember she always made the kids feel better when they were sick and away from home.
Any nurse that is there to care for my child even if minor deserves recognition in my book. Patricia
