My Thoughts
I was raised in an Italian household, and have always had a soft spot for Italian desserts. When I a child, I had great aunts and uncles who would bring all sorts of delicatessens from bakeries in South Philly when they came to visit. Most of those bakeries have shut down now, and it's not often we can find a quality Italian dessert, but Bauli offers just that.
This Thanksgiving my family was thrilled to get to try out one of Bauli's delicious Panettones, which is the Italian's version of fruitcake. It's a lot better than its counterpart though. Every bite is loaded with lemon zest and raisins, but it's also very light.
The pandoro was another yummy snack. I tried this in the mini version. It has the texture of bread but is just a little sweeter. I really enjoyed it because some desserts are just unbearably sweet, and this was just right with a cup of tea or coffee.

Interesting!! I have yet to try fruit cake... it always scares me lol!! But since this is lighter and not quite the same I may risk it ;) Italians uaully know what they are doing!!
I think they all sound delicious! I'd especially like to check out the Pandoro cake, it seems very festive!
