#ad Three Fun Ways to Make Collecting Box Tops Fun #BTFE

  Sponsored by General Mills

Whether your kids are already back in school or will be starting next week like mine, now is the time to start gathering your Box Tops. This time of year, Walmart Bonus Box Tops are available on select General Mills® products, so it's a great time to get your kids involved. I live in a little tourist town with few year round residents.  Our little schools need all the help they can get, so my kids and I always purchase Box Top Brands first.

In addition to buying the products, we try to encourage others to take part as well. Here are three fun ways that we discovered to keep the Box Tops rolling in.

1) Decorate a box with a little slot in it, and make a mini poster letting people know you're gathering box tops for your school. Leave it at the customer service center at local stores that carry Box Top products. You'll be amazed how many you can collect this way.  Just be sure to ask a manager for permission first.

2) If your a teacher or class room mom, make it a game for the kids. Make a chart with all their names on it, and mark off every time they bring in a Box Top. When they reach a certain level, reward them with small prizes likes stickers or temporary tattoos.

3) Get your friends and family involved.  We have a ton of friends and neighbors who don't have kids of their own. My children offer to do little chores for them, like raking leaves or washing their car, in exchange for their Box Tops. Most people are very receptive, and it's a great way to teach kids responsibility as well as earning more money for your school.

These are only a few ways to earn Box Tops for your school. Think outside the box and try to come up with some unique ideas of your own. Since this program began in 1996, over $525 Million has been earned, so it's obvious that Box Tops are making a big difference for schools across the country. Make sure that this year, you and your family do your part.  If you want to learn about all the participating General Mill products and other ways to help earn money for your school, be sure to head to your local Walmart and check out all the great savings on your favorite Box Top brands today.
