My Thoughts
Monkey's Up is a strategy game. The box is filled up with a bunch of cute little monkeys, and each one has a number on the bottom of it. You start out the game by setting up the monkeys so all the numbers are hidden. The object of the game is to get three monkeys with the highest numbers. You accomplish this by rolling the die. Each side of the die has instructions, like flipping over the monkeys, switching them, or stealing them. Each game takes only 5-10 minutes and it teaches a little math along the way.
Monkey's Up is a fast paced game that younger children are going to love. It's quick and easy to set up, and helps children learn to recognize numbers and colors, use strategy, and even learn to comprehend values. My kids had a great time playing this game, and it's perfect for a rainy day in the summer when we're stuck in the house.
