 My Thoughts

My daughter loves to play kitchen and when I buy toy foods, I always turn to New Sprouts from Learning Resources. Like all their play food, this set offers quality toys that are sure to last for many years to come. One of the things that always wins me over with New Sprouts is their attention to the smallest details.  I love how each piece in this set looks so real. The butter is half melted. The strawberries have stems, and the syrup bottle even has a lid. The waffles are divided into four even triangles that fit perfectly inside the waffle maker. Kids can close it tight and wait for the waffles to cook. My daughter is practicing her counting while she plays, and always counts to twenty before she opens it up to make sure they are "cooked" enough. It's a great way to use her imagination and learn at the same time.

The Waffle Time set from New Sprouts was a huge hit with my family. The pieces are all a decent size so you won't have to worry about loosing them, and they don't have that chemical smell so many other plastic toys seem to have. Thy are also the perfect size for toddler hands to grip. Even my elementary school kids had fun playing with their little sister.
