Our Thoughts

I really enjoy trying new foods, especially if they're healthy for you and I've never heard anything but good stuff about curry. Except for how difficult it can be to make, so when this, basically step-by-step instruction guide and ingredients came up for review I felt like the pearly gates opened.

The book has a lot of great recipes, pictures included. The recipes are easily readable and you can understand them just fine. There are a lot of seasonings that comes in the steel container. It is really heavy, but durable and looks pristine in the kitchen. I had many of the ingredients before except for the garam masala and fenugreek. I know that fenugreek is very good for nursing mothers, and I am a nursing mother so I get a double bonus there!

In the recipe book there is a spiciness guide via hot pepper pictures that I thought was pretty cute and easy for kids to understand too. I had mine look through the book and pick out the "less spicy" items to try. This book was a real eye opener on how not difficult it is to cook curry foods. Honestly, most of the ingredients are things you'll already have in your household, it's the spices that make all the difference!

Our favorite meals out of Kitchen Curry Master are chicken curry, as it is so basic and simple to make but tastes delicious. Another one of my personal favorites is chicken and spinach curry. I admit, the picture wasn't as appetizing looking as I was hoping, but once you make it yourself and taste it, it's delicious. There are some very unique recipes in here that include cilantro and yogurt even! The spicy rice is a great addition to any dinner, not just for something Indian, but it's great paired with grilled chicken or steaks!

If you're ever curious about Indian cuisine, get this item. It will really help you dive in and not be scared!
