GeoFlux and GameTime Sports by GeoSpace

Kids will be excited to learn that Geospace has come out with some new products designed to keep them entertained for hours. GeoFlux is a new product that is made out of rugged stainless steel, and serves as a spring that travels up and down any surfaces. Also out now are GameTime Sports Sets by Geospace.

Geospace Technologies designs and manufactures scientific instrumentation and equipment used by the global petroleum industry to acquire more seismic data in new and better ways.

GeoFlux transforms into a 3-D sculpture that resembles a giant atom or an extra planetary orchid. When you insert your hand through the coils, it begins to spiral up and down your arms, spinning at a fast pace. It won’t stop in case you want to transfer it to another surface as it can “bridge” over without stopping its motion. GeoFlux can serve as a party trick, an exercise tool, or a great gift for kids as well.

Also out from Geospace are GameTime Sports Sets. Three sports are currently available for kids: Ping Pong, Basketball and Football. These sports sets create entertainment for kids, and are available whenever, and can be set up wherever desired. All 3 sets are easy to set up and play, and each set comes with a traveling case.
GeoFlux and the GameTime Sports Sets are available from Geospace for $11.99 at www.geospaceplay.com

My Thoughts

The Geoflux is tons of fun. It's such a simple idea, but the simplicity is what makes it entertaining. When you open it, you can wrap it around your arm and watch it spiral up and down. My kids have even gotten the hang of passing it back and forth between their arms without it stopping.  The 3D sculpture is shaped to resemble an atom and it's a great way to get kids interested in science. It's made from stainless steel so it's sturdy and there are no jagged edges. My kids even had fun trying to figure out how to close it back up (though they do give you directions in the instructions).  I couldn't believe how long the Geoflux  held their attention and I was glad to get them away from the television for once on a rainy day.

The Game Time Ping Pong is another fun activity set. Now you can take your favorite game on the go and set it up anywhere you want. Inside each bag there is a net, a ball, and paddles--all in miniature sizes.  In just a few seconds you can set up a ping pong table on any flat surface.  It's also portable and can he hooked onto your backpack so you have it anywhere or any time. It's lightweight and the pieces are well made. The net stays up without any trouble, but it is a little harder to play with the smaller pieces than a full size set. My kids are still getting the hang of it, but I'm sure those are you very coordinated will have no trouble.
