No matter where I looked, I couldn't find anything that fit my criteria, so I set out to make one myself. I started by ironing vinyl onto fabric in my kitchen, and seven years — and dozens of prototypes later — the Posh Play Mat was born. The final product is everything I was looking for and more--functional, portable, wipeable and beautiful. It's made with child-friendly, environmentally-responsible materials. It's Modern, Eco-Friendly Baby Gear.

Shortly after my second child arrived, my dear friend Emily became a mom for the first time. She and her little one attended a few outdoor play dates, suffered through tummy time on hardwood floors, and spilled more than a few ounces of milk — and other things — along the way. Like me, she found herself dissatisfied with a blanket that wouldn't stay put and had to be washed after every spill or grassy outing. So she went in search of that perfect product, and she found it...on my living room floor, the then-unnamed Posh Play Mat. She was my first customer and quickly became my business partner. Our hope now is to share a product we truly believe in with moms everywhere. And in the process, our goal is to develop a successful business centered around providing the best possible products for our children and our world without sacrificing our sense of style.

Our Thoughts

I was lucky enough to be able to review another set of Posh products, and it came in matching colors, score! Thinking it would be large enough to hold maybe a few wipes, it most certainly was not! As soon as I opened the package my first thought was "Oh, my new purse for when baby comes". This is the perfect size to hold my wallet, phone, a few diapers and a package of wipes, it matches the changing pad and matches the Posh Playmat! Everything is synchronized and I don't have to carry around three different bags, easy as pie.

The mat also looks small in the pictures, it really does look like a little clutch with a tiny pad that goes with it, but I assure you it's not, they are both good-sized and the little mat is perfect for changing baby on and it easily wipes off as it's faux-leather. A very stylish mom-accessory!
