My thoughts:

I liked everything about this movie except the ending. Left me hanging.  but in 2014 this movie will be a series, I will definitely watch it, and hope they start the series where the movie left off.

This is a movie you can watch as a family. The story takes place the turn of the nineteenth/twentieth century.  It is about a young lady named Elizabeth Thatcher that is a teacher  Her family want her to stay close to home to teach and not leave.  Her mother went so far as to bribe Mr. Higgins to give young Elizabeth a position close to home, and when Elizabeth finds this out she is even more determined to prove to herself and her family she can do it in Coral Valley.

Young  Elizabeth stumbles across her Aunt Elizabeth's diary in the family safe.  She starts to read it, and finds that her aunt was also a teacher.  She wants to follow in her aunt's footsteps. Young Elizabeth decides to the teaching position in Coral Valley, despite her sister pleading with her not to go.

To young Elizabeth's surprise as she is on the train to coral Valley, her father has sent family friend, Edward Montclair of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to be sure Elizabeth gets to Coral Valley safely. As the two travel Elizabeth's destination, they encounter a bit of danger and Elizabeth is ready to give up, but Edward won't allow that to happen.  Miss Elizabeth Thatcher arrives to Coral Valley.  And it will be quite a challenge for her, one she is willing to accept.
