Hopeless Designs Children's Line

I’m a Los Angeles based designer actress/model, producer, and all-around entrepreneur. I am currently a student at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise), Hopeless Designs is something I’ve always wanted to do. I grew up wanting to have my own clothing and accessories line. I began making shirts, headbands, and jewelry for myself in high school, and soon my friends were making orders. As my brand’s popularity grew between my friends, family and even strangers, I thought, “why not make my designs for the world?”

The name for the brand just came to me one day. I go by my first and middle name, Asa Hope, and Hopeful Designs just didn’t seem like the right fit for my care-free lifestyle. I try to make the line as unique as my personality. My designs are never repeated to ensure that each Hopeless Design is original. I am excited to be a part of the “Go Green” movement, as I incorporate many recycled materials into my line. By reusing materials, I am not only creating eclectic, one-of-a-kind products, but also cutting down on the amount of manufacturing and waste necessary to create new molds and generic looks.

Our Thoughts

Hopeless Designs are stylishly cute! We received a headband in the mail (packaged perfectly so it didn't get ruined) and my oldest daughter wanted to wear it immediately. Of course I had to check it out first. Very soft quality, and the buttons reminded me of a Sailor's hat, which I thought was adorable. The cloth part was a light blue, which is excellent because I have a lot of blue clothing for my daughters.

The button designs are well secured on the headband and it fit my daughter's head just fine, even aft I wore it, as I thought it might stretch it out, but it didn't. Can be paired with a cute little dress or worn w/ your every day wear. Good for children and adults alike in my opinion.
