Play-i Launches with Robots for Children to Program

In a world of technology, children are learning at an early age to embrace science. Play-i has discovered a way to make that learning both fun and interactive. They have designed two little robots that fuse play with programming for kids of all ages. So far, there are two different robots to choose from and each have their own unique personalities.  Bo is the explorer. He enjoys trying new things and will grow and explore with your child as they play with him. Yana is the storyteller who loves to entertain. The power of imagination will help bring him to life.

One of the really cool things about these robots, is that they grow with your child. There are different levels of play for different age groups ranging from five to twelve and well beyond. As the mother of four children between two and thirteen, this is a great perk because I know all my kids will enjoy playing with the robot. This means I get more for my money than I would with other toys geared only for small kids or only for teens.  Kids will be able to play music, learn different languages, and tell stories. But there's more to it than simply playing around. The robot works on commands that must be programmed into their system, giving children a knowledge of programming that will be imperative for this new generation.  Older kids can even learn how to write their own computer codes. I think this is a great idea. Its a toy that actually serves an important purpose and educates your child.

The robots from Play-i are still a work in progress at this point. They won't be available in retail stores until the summer of 2014, but you can help get the project off its feet and save up to 25% on the retail price by getting involved now. Just head over to the Play-i website and check out their Crowdfunding project. They are already well on their way and have reached their first goal, but additional funds could mean some cool accessories for Bo and Yana including even their very own xylophone. Act fast because you only have until November 26th to cash in on this opportunity.  Help bring Bo and Yana to life by backing up this exciting new company today.
