Fall Back Into Youthful Skin with La Roche-Posay

According to a 2013 American Society for Dermatologic Consumer Study, the most common skin concerns people face are wrinkles around the eyes, brightness/pigmentation and skin sagging. This month, three brand new products are available from La Roche-Posay that each address and target one of the top three concerns people have with their aging skin.

Redermic R Eyes ($47) is an eye treatment that combines 0.01% pure retinol with an innovative retinol booster and caffeine to deliver a retinol treatment designed specifically to visibly rejuvenate the eye area, diminish the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles all without causing irritation or discomfort.

Mela D Deep Cleansing Brightening Foaming Cream ($25) is a daily cleanser with micro-exfoliating LHA (0.1%) to even complexion and boost radiance while gently exfoliating the skin to fight the look of dark spots.

Substiane [+] Serum Anti-Aging Concentrate ($65) is a unique treatment product formulated with an advanced concentrate technology including LR 2412 [2%]: a multi-benefit, potent ingredient which fills in the gaps between lipid layers and corneocytes on the skin’s surface for visible plumping, and Pro-Xylane [3%]:  capable of retaining several times its weight in water helping to replenish volume and protect skin’s support structure.

La Roche Posay products are available at select physicians’ offices, select CVS/pharmacy, Ulta, Walgreens and Duane Reade locations, and online at www.laroche-posay.us

My Thoughts

Who doesn't love trying out a new skincare line? I was definitely excited to get a chance to try out La Roche-Posay.  Now that I'm getting older and its time to start obsessing thinking about anti-aging products, and I've been shopping around for some options for a while now. I was lucky enough to get to try out two of their newest products in the La Roche-Posay line. The first was the Redermic R Eyes corrector. This is a really unique product because the e eye cream works to erase circles and fine lines while still offering moisturizing essentials. The combination  really makes eyes stand out and shine.  I feel like I had a face lift after just a few uses. My eyes look great, even without makeup.
The Substiane Serum is fabulous as well. It goes on smooth with no greasy residues. Not only does it work as a moisturizer that makes your skin soft and touchable, it also produces visible anti-aging signs in as little as one day. I have been using it for about a week and have noticed a marked decline in lines around my eyes and lips. I can also say that my skin tone seems less blotchy.  I am really pleased with the results I've seen so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how much better it gets after a full month of applications.
