Have you ever walked into a store, the mall, school, or work, and had that extra kick in your step, 'cause, dang it, you know you look good? You're wearing a new shirt. It totally rocks, suits your body and personality--and oh shoot! Ms. Henderson is wearing the same shirt!!!! Ugh!
I guarantee that's not likely to happen with G-Wear.
"Using t-shirts as a “canvas” and recycled vintage T's as stitched-appliques, G Wear creates designs that allow the wearer to communicate a relaxed style all their own, with no two shirts being alike. Guests visiting the website www.myGWear.com can pick their own design, applique color and t-shirt color to create a G Wear T that reflects their style- choices from tanks to fitted and boyfriend T's all on cotton and organic T's."
Don't believe it? Check this out:
Here is the one I received:
You can see the difference.
On top of being fashionable, they have a line of OSU and OU wear for you fellow okies out there. They have other colleges too, but me being from Oklahoma, that line stood out to me. You can also get custom sports shirts to show your hubby's or your children's number on it. They have a T-shirt to support
Moore, Oklahoma. All T-shirts are hand-stitched, meaning a lot of love, time, and effort goes into them. They have personality.
On top of the Marilyn, I received this one:
The Pros:
-I love the uniqueness. I don't like to look like everyone else.
-The fact they are recycled. I'm a recycler.
-They are cute as heck!
-They fit perfectly.
-I love handmade stuff. I prefer it. It's just me. So these appeal to me.
The cons:
-With them being hand-stitched and everyone having different levels of sewing skills, one T-shirt is really well stitched and one is not. One is perfect in every way, while the other has a slight tear in the design and a few stitches coming loose. However, I'm sure they have an exchange plan in place should you be overly concerned with your shirt. I found the people who run the company to be nicest people I've dealt with in a long time.
-They are very thin. The black one I can wear as is, the white will require a tank top underneath, cause I'm just not that...daring. LOL
But conclusion: I cannot wait to show off my new shirt tonight at a get-together. I know I'm going to get a ton of comments and nobody is going to be able to get the exact shirt.
