My Thoughts
A Fine Romance is a delightful romantic comedy. Its revolves around an unlikely couple trying to make a relationship work as they shuffle through middle-agedom. Laura is a somewhat uptight translator and Mike is a humble landscaper. At first it seems shy Mike will never win her over, but in time, this couple proves that opposites really can attract.Their courtship is riddled with silly misunderstandings and they both have some insecurities to overcome along the way that lead to both realistic and hilarious situations, but in the end that prove that love can conquer anything. Judi and Michael's real life romance adds so much chemistry to their scenes together. You can see that they truly have a connection that makes their interactions magical to watch. This is a wonderful classic series that won many awards back in the 80's and its definitely worth revisiting on DVD today.
