My Thoughts
Lavender is one of my favorite essential oils because of its healing and relaxing qualities, so I love finding new products that utilize it. Aveeno has always been one of my favorite baby care companies, but I was exciting to see they had a line of Lavender skincare. The Aveeno Baby Lavender and Vanilla Calming Comfort Bath smells so wonderful, I actually enjoyed using it for my own bath just as much as my for my children's. The formula is gentle enough that it doesn't burn their eyes or irritate their delicate skin. The calming scent is wonderful for a bedtime bath. Its soothing and it helps my baby drift to sleep easily and peacefully. It also leaves his skin feeling rose-petal soft. It comes in a nice squeeze bottle for easy access. The light scent is perfect for boys or girls. If you prefer something with a little less fragrance for your children, the lightly scented Wash & Shampoo is the perfect choice. The scent is delicate, refreshing and its tear free.
The Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion leaves skin feeling rose-petal soft. The baby lotion is gentle and safe for even a newborn's skins. It goes on smooth and has no greasy residue. It comes in a nice squeeze bottle for easy access. It is made with soothing oatmeal so it works well enough that I could use it on my own skin with results that were just as impressive.
As a bonus, the awesome gift set includes a little something for moms. Again, it offers the luscious scent of lavender, this time mingled with chamomile and ylang ylang in for the form of a stress relief body wash.
