LEBEPUR Review

LEBEPUR
Healthier eating, holidays in the countryside, less stress - basically we all know what is good for us. The reality is often different: stress at work, a poor diet and environmental influences represent a permanent burden on our bodies. Because of these influences more free radicals (aggressive oxygen molecules) are produced in our body that damage our cells and thus accelerate cellular aging. To counteract these processes, our body protects itself with so-called antioxidants, which it largely absorbs from plant food - i.e. fruit and vegetables. These antioxidants can be found in vitamins and secondary metabolites, such as polyphenols or carotenoids before. They absorb free radicals and protect our cells.

We can see, taste and smell secondary metabolites. They give the blueberry its colour, make garlic spicy and add a special fragrance to mint. In contrast to primary metabolites they do not provide energy nor are they involved in building cell structure. Instead, they serve in the effective protection against pathogens and predators in the plant kingdom. Humans can also take advantage of this protective effect by consuming them regularly with your food.

Our Thoughts

I jumped on the chance to receive these as I have done the 'green juicing' thing before and felt fantastic. I love smoothies and anything that can make a smoothie or juice even healthier is awesome in my book. The amount you receive in one package is a lot. A little bit goes a long way, you only really need about one tablespoon per smoothie. Here are a list of their recipes:

My favorite smoothie that I made was with strawberries, bananas, lemon juice, stevia and one tablespoon of the raspberry, then again I have a sweet tooth! Constantly fighting with my children to get them to eat more veggies, this is super simple to get the nutrition in them. Instead of the "green" smoothies like the website recommends, I'd just pack a bunch of different fruits in the blender and add one tablespoon of either dandelion, spinach or nettle. The kids could not even taste it so this is a definite hit in this house!!

Now these are meant for smoothies, but I've enjoyed them so much that I have been concocting some ideas of how to incorporate them into some foods even, but shhh don't tell the kids!
