Seriously. The BEST bag EVER!! The Messenger Devyn Bag is versatile, it can be a diaper bag or a bag for Mom. Or anyone! My son is special needs with special dietary needs and is still in (cloth) diapers. And for years, I exclusively pumped breast milk for him. The diaper bag I had was cheaply made, but it had a large insulated pocket which worked really well when he was only getting my milk. Once he started solids, we quickly outgrew (and destroyed) that insulated pocket. While I still used it as a diaper bag, this now meant that everywhere we went, I had to take the diaper bag, a cooler, and my purse. For short trips, I could get away with just throwing my checkbook and phone in the diaper bag, but not always. The older he got, the more gear we needed to bring, the more bags we needed to haul. I’ve been on the search for a better diaper bag for a long time.

My main requirement was that it had to have a very large insulated compartment. And I needed to be able to access any zippered compartments with one hand. Many of the diaper bags out there had the kind of zipper that was a two-handed operation, and NONE of them had a large insulated compartment. Then finally, FINALLY, I came across the Devyn Bag. Seriously I cannot say enough good things about this bag!! It’s really well made and as a bonus, is stylish too! The insulated section is huge, and will fit not only my son’s meals, sippy cup, bibs, and my water bottle, I could easily fit food in there for me too! It even comes with reuseable hot/cold packs!

The center pocket is padded so those with a laptop can safely put it in there. I use the center pocket for diapers, toys, and other miscellaneous child things. The front section has several inner pockets (as does the insulated section), and I use that for things I’d normally carry in my purse. I can hardly believe this bag fit all our needed gear with room to spare, and it still closed!! The shoulder strap is adjustable, and has a padded section for comfort, which I needed because the sheer amount of gear I bring for day trips can get heavy. It has an outer pocket too, that you could put your phone or keys, but I have it stuffed with a roll of bags for dirty diapers and my phone charger for quick easy access. If you ever find yourself having to exclusively pump, get this bag. If you bring your meals with you instead of eating out, get this bag! It is all-around a fantastic bag, and I highly recommend it!!
