About the Author

 D. A. Schwartz lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and two youngest children. Debbie is a registered nurse, mother of five, and a new grandmother. Motivated by the birth of her first grandbaby, she wanted to find a way to empower today's children to make their future world a more thoughtful and caring place.

Thus the Lemon Dots were born. Written in verse, the rhyming stories are both simple to understand and fun to read. Set in the magical land of Lemon Dot Town the cute, lovable animals become the heroes of the story as they teach kids lesson of friendship, love, respect and what it means to be part of a family, a town, and the world.

Our Thoughts
 

The Lemon Dot Tree is a cute story for kids about loving yourself, others, and the environment.  It’s well written with nice rhyming; it tells the story of what happens when Stingy comes to town and takes, but does not give back.  My only concern with it is the illustrations are very quiet; my son likes colorful books best.  While he may grow to enjoy the story, the illustrations wouldn’t jump off the shelf at him. But, he’s only 4! I enjoyed it the story; give it a read!
