More About Sentimental Journey

On Sentimental Journey, the multi-talented actress and singer brings her stellar voice to songs popularized by some of the most beloved artists of the last century.

The album's highlights include its title track, which was a No. 1 hit for Les Brown and His Band of Renown with Doris Day as the vocalist in 1945; These Foolish Things, a '30s standard that has been recorded by everyone from Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby to Rod Stewart and Michael Buble, and Summer Wind, which was popularized by Frank Sinatra in 1966.

 My Thoughts

As a die hard fan of the Phantom of the Opera, I already knew that Emmy had a great set of pipes. She was enthralling as Christine and listening to her sing these timeless classics is just as enchanting.  Her voice is powerful yet sweet and charming. Each track is her own interpretation of covers everyone will know. So you can sing along but still feel like its a new experience. I love the CD and even cover with all the butterflies is beautiful. This CD would make a great addition to any collection.
