In Home Party with @OralB Stages and Winnie the Pooh #OralBStages

Getting my toddler off to a good start in her oral hygiene is important. The habits she develops know will effect her teeth for the rest of her life. I have been lucky with her so far. She thinks of brushing her teeth as a game, so its easy to get her to do it. My two older children are a harder to get to cooperate. But that is not always the case. Some little ones fight you tooth and nail when it comes to brushing their teeth. A lot of my friends say that they practically have to strap their kids down to get the tooth brush in their mouths. I has excited to invite those friends over for an in home party sponsored by Oral-B Stages, so we could learn the importance of brushing and make it fun at the same time.

Oral-B Stages and MommyParties was nice enough to send me everything I needed to make my party a success. The release of the new Disney "Winnie the Pooh Movie," made it the perfect time to celebrate, because Oral-B uses these lovable Disney characters on their brushes and toothpaste containers.  Its a great incentive to encourage kids to brush.  We received a copy of the movie and a big package of goodies to give out including Oral-B Stages toothbrushes, toothpaste, Disney Lavender Body Wash, and other fun goodies.

Before we settled in to watch the movie, we all got together to play a game with flashcards. It was a great way to teach the kids about oral hygiene.  My oldest daughter helped by holding up the cards while kids talked about what each picture was and what we needed to do with them. When we got to the dentist card, a few of the bigger kids shared their stories so it wouldn't seem as scary for the little ones on their first visit. Seeing the Disney characters they love also made it a fun activity.

After the game, we settled in to watch the movie. We popped some movie style popcorn. We even had some groovy containers to serve it in. The kids loved this classic version of "Winnie the Pooh" and so did all the parents. Everyone felt so sorry for Eeyore when he lost his tail.  He has always been my favorite character. And of course Winnie the Pooh and his rumbly belly are always cute. Half way through the movie, we took a little break and served some Pooh Kabob and Pooh Bear Bagel Melts. When the movie was over, we handed out the goodie bags. Everyone went  home happy and with a bright smile, all thanks to Oral-B Stages.
