Holiday Gift Guide - Air Swimmers from Think Geek Review
I live at the Jersey Shore. My kids love the ocean, and even though its pretty rare, there are always a few times each year when we think we see a shark in the water. Most of the time is turns out to be a dolphin. But this week, we spotted a real shark. The strange thing was, it wasn't out in the ocean. It was floating around on our ceiling! And all thanks to Think Geek. They recently added Air Swimmers to their inventory and this is a toy that is definitely a must have this holiday season.
For our review, we received the Air Swimmers shark, and my son was floating just as high as the shark was when it arrived. It took only a few minutes to assemble. You just have to fill it up with helium, anchor it down, and attach the fins and controllers. Once it was all together, we set it free on our cathedral ceilings. It had plenty of room to fly up there, and since the remote works up to fifty feet, we had no trouble controlling it. My son had a ball steering it from the kitchen to the living room in endless loops. When he's not playing with it, we barely even notice it up on the ceiling in his room. And once the helium runs out, we can fill it back again so the fun never ends. You can get your Air Swimmer on sale for only $29.99 at Think Geek right now. Choose from the shark or the clown fish.
