When it comes to toys, there is one that kids of all ages love, and that is Pillow Pets. We must have at least a dozen of them in our house, and every year on the holidays we add a new one to the collection. This year, there will definitely be another Pillow Pet, but there will also be something else that is completely new and different-the Pillow Pets video game for Nintendo DS. Thanks to GameMil Entertainment, your kids can take their favorite Pillow Pet on a whole new kind of adventure.
In the Pillow Pets game. you will be on a journey to find your favorite lost pet and bring him home. Along the way, you will uncover tokens and rewards while you explore beautiful lands including Fantasy Woods, Rainbow Valley, and Slumber Land Castle. There are sixteen Pillow Pets including some of my favorites like the bumblebee, the cow, and the brown puppy dog. You can accessorize all your pets with fun accessories like hats, glasses, and more. They are more than 40 levels to explore and lots of fun to be had.
My two older kids tried out the Pillow Pets game, and while they did enjoy it, it was a little too easy for them. They finished all forty levels in under an hour. With that in mind, I would definitely still recommend this game, but I think its more suited to children a little younger than mine. A good age range would probably be 4-6. Its a great game to start out on if your little one is getting a DS for the first time. The graphics are adorable and its so much fun to see the Pillow Pets on the screen. My toddler is a little too young to play the game yet, but she went crazy when she saw "Mr. Ruff"" (her name for her doggie Pillow Pet) on the screen.
